How to get the most out of your FREE Preventive Care Visit Click here for a list of the Preventive Services (annual physical/biometrics) covered at 100% under your medical plan. For more information about covered preventive care services, please call your medical plan provider. Remember, care for existing health conditions is not considered preventive care and is not covered at 100%. Tip 1: Call and schedule a preventive care visit NOW with your doctor. It may take a while to get in to see your physician. Tip 2: When scheduling your appointment and on the day of your appointment, inform the office staff that your appointment is for preventive care (annual physical). Tip 3: On the day of the appointment, bring your member ID card to the doctor's office. You will want to share this with the office staff. Tip 4: Do not pay a copay. There are no copayments or upfront deductibles for preventive care services. Tip 5: Remind your doctor and office staff that the plan pays for eligible, in network preventive care services at 100%. Tip 6: Remind your doctor and office staff to submit preventive care claims with preventive care procedure codes.
