Residency Change

If you or your dependents have a change in residency, which causes a loss for region-specific plans or out-of-network, this is considered a qualifying life event, which means you can make mid-year enrollment changes without having to wait for Open Enrollment.

If coverage of a benefit ends due to qualified life event, you may be eligible for a temporary continuation of coverage through COBRA. Click here for more information on COBRA.

Click here to view the Summary Plan Descriptions for each of American Greeting’s Benefit Plans for more details on the impact of your benefits due to a qualified life event.

If you want to make changes to your benefits, log into myAGBenefits or call the AGBenefits Service Center at (877) 213-6240.

Health Care Coverage

If you need to change your benefit elections due to a change in the location of residency, the change in coverage must be consistent with the family status change. For example, if you move, and the residency change affects your health care coverage, you may make a change in coverage. You have up to 30 days after the move to make the change.
